CROSSFIT: Constantly varied, high intensity, functional movement - open to all fitness and experience levels, we'll scale the movements and weights for each individual. Plyometrics, dumbbells, kettlebells, and gymnastics movements will be incorporated into the workout. Expect an hour-long class, which will include a warm-up, skill work, strength work, a 15-25 minute workout, plus a cool down.

Next Friday, June 21st, 3pm-6pm, Virago Fitness will be hosting a Virago International Yoga Day Event! This will be held at Balboa Park in San Diego. Put together by the Virago F.I.T. Project team and sponsored by Suja Juice to promote health and wellness in a fun uplifting way. There will be free juice, kombucha, wellness shots, and yoga classes for all who attend. There are 3 classes available, each 45 minutes long, starting at 3pm, 4pm, and 5pm. We would love for everyone to join us, please RSVP for the yoga classes through eventbrite. Hope to see you all there!

3:00-3:45pm Class Description - Yoga in the Park w/Rachel: This yoga class is open to all yoga levels regardless of age, fitness level or bodily limitations. This practice is to gently build strength and flexibility as well as to deepen the breath and the connection to the body.

4:00-4:45pm Class Description - Hatha Yoga w/Annie: A grounding, gentle, hatha yoga class that will combine a variety of poses, breathing techniques, and close with a guided meditation. This class is very beginner friendly, and inviting to every body to enjoy a moment of mindful relaxation in the park. 

5:00-5:45pm Class Description - Yoga Camp w/Ally & The Spirit Bird Life: What is a yoga camp you may ask..well it's a smerge between yoga & bootcamp - one part OM & one part BADASS.  Join The Spirit Bird Life for a unique yoga experience that incorporates yoga, strength training & cardio, topped off with a guided meditation.  Accompanied by a killer playlist and an energetic instructor, this will no doubt be a fantastic way to start your Friday evening. 

Yoga Mat is not necessary. Bring a towel or just yourself.

Dailey Barre: This class is good for all levels of ability. The cuing and pacing is relatively quick but options and modifications are given regularly to enable all students to be successful. Students are encouraged to work at their own level and to make the positioning the priority for each exercise. Movement is layered on after form and alignment is perfected. This is the ideal class to work on perfecting your practice while continuing to be challenged.
